What does Mixify mean?
We think of Mixify as an action to create something that belongs to you, that is a reflection of you, something that expresses your creativity and your personality. Mixify is something made by hand, with care, with passion, and with purpose. Something crafted with pride, complete with slight variations which make each item unique.
Are the ingredients the same quality as store bought products?
As good or better! We source our products from professional manufacturers. We only send you products we use ourselves, and we are very selective about what we use. If we find a better product we include it in our kits which is why you may receive products different to what you see in the photos in our gallery. Every experience is different!
What does 5 free mean and why should I care?
All our bases are 5 free meaning they are free from harmful ingredients historically used in nail polish. Our polishes are Toluene free, Formaldehyde free, DBP-Dibutyl Phthalate free, Formaldehyde Resin free, Camphor free.
This means fewer toxins in our environment due to nail polish use. We are always searching for ways to further reduce this.

Colors contain a combination of micas, pigments and dyes. Please contact us if there’s a specific ingredient you need to avoid.

Additional ingredients may include:

How do I remove the nail polish?
Our nail polishes come off with normal nail polish remover. No special remover is required!
How many bottles should I get per person?
Nothing is worse than not having enough bottles! As a general guide, 1-2 bottles per guest (with a few spares) is what most people order.

Great question! There is no set way to create your signature nail polish color. Take a look at our tutorial for tips.
How is a natural nail polish stain different to nail polish?
A natural nail polish stain will give you a beautiful, rich, vibrant color. It cannot be removed with nail polish remover. The stain will fade over time and grow out as your nails grow. You can paint over the stain with regular nail polish.
Did you send me the kids sized bottle?
No, no! We strongly believe in right-size products and packaging. Larger nail polish bottles are rarely finished before they start to thicken and separate so we start with smart sized bottles.

Awesome! Glad you love Mixify Polish as much as we do. We use the best available products to make our kits so there may be variations in your kits. It makes for a unique experience each time.
What can I do with the packaging?
We're actively trying to reduce landfill. Before you put everything in the recycling bin, did you know that the tin packaging can be repurposed? Thoroughly wash the tin for a durable storage container to house keepsakes, hair accessories, your nail polish or other trinkets. Thoroughly wash the mixing tray for a seedling container. Did you notice the band holding your bottles together is actually a hair band?

Which countries do you ship to?
Anywhere we legally can and in many cases quicker than cross country USA! We've included the most popular countries at checkout though if your country isn't there, send us a message. Note that if your country charges taxes or duties, these will be your responsibility to pay at the time of delivery.
It may be that the box is opened by customs for inspection, and things may get a little untidy. It sucks, but we can't control this. If your order is returned unopened and in resellable condition, we will refund the order less any expenses such as shipping fees, government charges etc.
